The Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) annual Golden Globe Awards started in the early 1940's by a group of journalists wishing to cover all aspects of world entertainment. Today the members of the assocation represent about 55 countries and have a readership of more than 250 million. The association contribute to other non profit organisations within the industry and promote the arts.  

The 14th Ceremony was held at the Cocoanut Grove at the Ambassador Hotel in LA
