Terry & June
June played opposite Terry Scott, in various productions, for nearly two decades. The partnership began in the TV sketch show 'Scott on...' in 1968, and continued in a variety of guises until 1987.
Fabulous Darling!
In 1992 June's career took a turn away from cozy 'Terry & June' style comedy when she was cast as Mother to Edina Monsoon in Jennifer Saunders' award winning sitcom 'Absolutely Fabulous'. Of her costume for the show she said ‘It’s tailor-made for me, but I’m embarrassed to say I wear my own clothes. I’m a terrible hoarder so I dug out all my old M&S stuff. It was good quality but just that bit out of date – perfect for the character.’
