Creator of the radio programme Take it From Here broadcast by the BBC for 12 years from 1948. It starred Jimmy Edwards, Joy Nichols, June Whitfield and Dick Bentley.
After writing for the BBC's Here's Television & The Frost Report, Denis became a TV presenter himself hosting the chat show Looks Familiar and, perhaps his most famous show which he created himself, It'll Be Alright on the Night which enjoyed continued success between 1977 and 2006.
