Started Snapchat as a school project with 2 friends, Reggie Brown and Bobby Murphy . The idea was generated in response to a conversation they had had about sexting. The app's conception became the basis of a lawsuit filed by Brown after he was forced out of Snapchat's founding team. Snapchat was launched by Evan Spiegal and Bobby Murphy in 2011.
