Trained as a ballet dancer at the Royal Swedish Ballet School in Stockholm and the School of American Ballet in New York. She lived on her own when she was 15 while she trained at Sweden's upper school of ballet in Stockholm.
Her first leading role was in the Swedish movie Pure in 2009.
Learnt to speak Danish in 2 months for her role in A Royal Affair.
