Formed the Three Stooges (originally named as Ted Healy and His Stooges) in 1925 and signed with Columbia pictures in 1931, going on to make almost 200 short films before the group broke up in 1970.
As a child his mother never cut his hair. Moe eventually did it himself and created his trademark helmet style haircut he carried for the rest of his career.
