Played Keith Partridge in the hit American TV show The Partridge Family with his step mother, Shirley Jones, playing his on screen mother.
When he was in the Partridge Family his fan club became one of the largest in music industry history, even outstripping those of Elvis Presley and The Beatles.
Enjoyed a successful career as a solo artist when he left the Partridge Family in 1974. After moving to the UK in 1984 he pursued musical theatre taking over Cliff Richard's role in Time in 1987 and playing opposite his half rother Shaun Cassidy in Blood Brothers in 1994.
