In May 2014, Keegan began a new age religion called Full Circle, the result of a private trauma he had suffered when he was attacked by gang members and was injured. The attack occurred at the same time as the Tsunami hit Japan. Keegan has described how 'synchronicity led him to find his highest purpose'. Undercover agents with the California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control raided a charity event at the Full Circle spiritual centre in Venice and confiscated Kombucha (a fermented green tea) which was being sold illegally by the group. It contains less than 1% alcohol but they did not have a license to sell.
