Probable relationship began about 1934
Unity 'stalked' Hitler after moving to Berlin and was finally allowed to sit at his table. He played her off against his mistress Eva Braun who realised the threat. After the outbreak of war in September 1939 Unity went to a park in Berlin and shot herself in the head. Hitler paid for her treatment and visited her in hospital. Her mother and sister collected her in 1940 taking her back to England where there were calls for her internment.
