After his father died in 1987, he started selling drugs to make ends meet.  He later declared regretting such actions stating  "As a child, I was able to know that I wanted a better life,".

7 June 2014: Seriously injured as a passenger in a limousine bus which was struck by a Walmart truck in New Jersey in the early hours.
Morgan broke a leg,a femur, his nose and several ribs. As of November 2014 he is able to a few steps. more than that and he has use of a wheelchair.
