in the 1970's Lindsay played the lead role in Citizen Smith, a sitcom about urban guerrilla 'Wolfie' Smith. The series ran for 30 episodes and followed Wolfie as he tried to gain 'Power to the people' through his founding and running of the revolutionary Tooting Popular Front. In 2015 Lindsay was asked to reprieve this role for a new series of the sitcom.
