Cause of death
Shot and murdered in error by a 15 year old member of the LA Bloods gangs.
Murdered as he left his community college classroom by a teenage member of the Bloods, Los Angeles notorious street gang. Charles had been mistaken as being a member of a rival gang. By 2007 the killer had been paroled and was trying to earn a business graduate degree whilst working as a recruiter for law firms.
