A Hostage To Love

In the late 1930s, Robert Wilson became so besotted by Garland that he planned to grab her and take her away to a cozy hideaway. He had staked out her house in preparation, but got cold feet and told the police about his plans. He explained his devotion to her, saying "Every time she wiggels that cute little pug nose of hers, I fall more in love with her. She is my dream girl".
